Longue Vue is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Guided house tours are held every hour on the hour. The last tour starts at 4 p.m.
Longue Vue is closed to the public on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Mardi Gras, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Using Public Transit to Get to Longue Vue from the French Quarter
If you are near the river, take the Riverfront Streetcar to Canal Street. If not, walk to Canal Street. From Canal Street, catch the Canal Streetcar towards the cemetery. Get off at the cemetery. This portion of the trip is on the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority.
