Support Longue Vue so that we can continue to inspire people through our engaging programming and exhibits and magnificent house and gardens.  Monetary gifts may be directed to the following funds:

  • Unrestricted Gifts - Click here to donate.
Unrestricted Gifts are used where most needed.  Unrestricted Gifts are vital to the financial strength of Longue Vue and sustain the museum's mission, educational programs, conservation efforts, and operational needs.
  • The Garden Fund - Click here to donate.
You and your family, business, or club can play a role in the plantings at Longue Vue by supporting our historic gardens, which require continuous care to keep up their year-round displays of color and exuberant varieties of flowers.
  • The Discovery Garden Fund - Click here to donate.
Many of Longue Vue’s educational programs for children take place in our unique “hands-on” Lucy C. Roussel Discovery Garden.  This innovative half-acre learning garden features a giant sundial, working vegetable and herb gardens, a whimsical herb maze, compost bins, a worm dig, and a design garden in which children create their own gardens.  Your contribution to this fund will enable Longue Vue to maintain and update the Discovery Garden, allowing for meaningful educational experiences for both visitors and students on field trips.
  • The Education Fund - Click here to donate.
The Education Fund provides scholarships to all of our youth programming.  This fund, formerly called the VIP Fund, was established in 1999 and enables underserved youth to participate in various programs, including field trips and summer camp, at no cost.

  • Historic Preservation Funds - Click here to donate.
Longue Vue is considered to be the masterwork of architects William and Geoffrey Platt, while our collection of more than 4026 pieces of European, Asian, and American decorative and fine arts spans three centuries.  Your contribution to this fund will enable the Curatorial staff to ensure that objects in our collection are well-conserved and available for viewing and research.
  • The Exhibit Fund - Click here to donate.
Your support will enable Longue Vue to continue serving as a viewing place for art-based collections, where ideas meet action, as discussions about art, design, culture, and activism are cultivated.
  • The Community Initiative Fund - Click here to donate.
Your donation will enable Longue Vue to continue supporting a sustainable and resilient future for New Orleans through landscape revitalization, environmental initiatives, artistic promotion, and community dialogue.
