School Visits

Longue Vue educators will bring the garden to your classroom through one of three outreach programs. Students rotate through four stations while exploring science, math, creative arts, and language arts concepts. These programs may also be conducted at Longue Vue at a cost of $6.00 per student. Click here to book school visits

Booking Classroom Visits

GRADES: K and 1st grades
STUDENTS: MAX= up to 40
TEACHER/ADULT ASSISTANTS: three to seven teachers or chaperones
TIME: 60-90 minutes, dependent on class needs
COST: $240 + travel expenses

Life Around a Pond

Discover life in and around a pond, examine water samples through a microscope, participate in an interactive discussion of the food chain, plus create pond-inspired artwork.. GLE: (ELA-4-E3), (SI-E-B3) +
