Driving from:

Airline Drive exit 232 - Westbound from I-10:

1. Take Exit 232 to Airline Drive North
2. You will enter Airline Drive from a bridge. Stay in the right lane.
3. In 2 blocks (or 1/10 of a mile), you will see the New Orleans Job Corp building.
4. Immediately past the Job Corp building, turn right onto Palmetto Street.
You will see a sign for Longue Vue House and Gardens.
5. Continue on Palmetto Street for _ of a mile. Palmetto Street will have an S-curve.
Bamboo Road will be in the second curve on your right. Slow down because it will appear suddenly.
6. Turn right on Bamboo Road. Continue to the middle of Bamboo Road. Longue Vue will be on your right.
7. Passengers will exit the bus on Bamboo Road and walk up the first driveway (Pine Drive) to the
Entrance Court. The guide will meet you at the Ticket Office.
8. Cars will enter Pine Drive to the Ticket Office.

Airline Drive exit - Eastbound from I-10:

Due to construction on the Interstate, the exit sign was removed.

1. Take the very first exit after you pass Bonnabel Exit 229.
2. After exiting the I-10, take the Airline Drive exit.
3. Turn left on Airline Drive. Stay in the right lane on Airline Drive.

1. In 2 blocks (or 1/10 of a mile), you will see the New Orleans Job Corp building.
2. Immediately past the Job Corp building, turn right onto Palmetto Street.
You will see a sign for Longue Vue House and Gardens.
3. Continue on Palmetto Street for _ of a mile. Palmetto Street will have an S-curve.

4. Turn right on Bamboo Road. Continue to the middle of Bamboo Road. Longue Vue will be on your right.
5. Passengers will exit the bus on Bamboo Road and walk up the first driveway (Pine Drive) to the
Entrance Court. The guide will meet you at the Ticket Office.
6. Cars will enter Pine Drive to the Ticket Office.

Bonnabel Exit 229:

1. Take the Bonnabel Exit to Bonnabel Blvd. Turn right.
2. Continue _ mile to Metairie Road. Turn left on Metairie Road. Longue Vue will be 1_ miles from that point.
3. Landmarks will be:
• Traffic light at Codifer Street
• Traffic light at Focis Street
• Railroad tracks
• Traffic light at Fredrichs Avenue
• Traffic light at Orpheum Street
4. Immediately after crossing Orpheum Street, Bamboo Road will be on your right.
Bamboo runs along side the canal.
5. Continue to the middle of Bamboo Road and you will see Longue Vue on the left.
6. Passengers will exit the bus on Bamboo Road and walk up the first driveway (Pine Drive) to the
Entrance Court. The guide will meet you at the Ticket Office.
7. Cars will enter Pine Drive to the Ticket Office.

Canal Blvd. Exit 1A on I-10 & I-610:

1. Take Exit 1A on I-610.
• Turn left onto Canal Blvd. if exiting from the east or Slidell.
• Turn right onto Canal Blvd. if exiting from the west or Metairie.
2. Continue on Canal Blvd. to City Park Avenue (approx. 1 mile).

Landmarks will be:
• Traffic light at Navarre Street
• Railroad tracks
• Cemeteries on the right

3. Take a right on City Park Avenue toward Metairie.
4. Continue on City Park Avenue 1 block and go under the Interstate overpass.
This now becomes Metairie Road.
5. Continue on Metairie Road approximately _ a mile.
The cemeteries are on the right and the golf course is on the left.
6. You will reach the 17th Street Canal. Do not cross the canal.
Bamboo Road will be on the left and runs along the east side of the canal.
7. Continue to the middle of Bamboo Road and you will see Longue Vue on the left.
8. Passengers will exit the bus on Bamboo Road and walk up the first driveway (Pine Drive) to the
Entrance Court. The guide will meet you at the Ticket Office.
9. Cars will enter Pine Drive to the Ticket Office. Eastbound Canal Blvd. Exit 1A on I-610
10. Take Exit 230 Slidell East at the I-10 / 610 split.
11. Immediately take Exit 1A - the West End Blvd. / Canal Blvd. Exit
12. Turn right onto Canal Blvd
13. Continue on Canal Blvd. to City Park Avenue (approx. 1 mile).

Landmarks will be:
• Traffic light at Navarre Street
• Railroad tracks
• Cemeteries on the right

14. Take a right on City Park Avenue toward Metairie.
15. Continue on City Park Avenue 1 block and go under the Interstate overpass.
This now becomes Metairie Road.
16. Continue on Metairie Road approximately _ a mile.
The cemeteries are on the right and the golf course is on the left.
17. You will reach the 17th Street Canal. Do not cross the canal.

18. Continue to the middle of Bamboo Road and you will see Longue Vue on the left.
19. Passengers will exit the bus on Bamboo Road and walk up the first driveway (Pine Drive) to the

20. Cars will enter Pine Drive to the Ticket Office.

Westbound Canal Blvd. Exit 1A on I-610

1. Take Exit 1A on I-610.
2. Turn left onto Canal Blvd.
3. Continue on Canal Blvd. to City Park Avenue (approx. 1 mile).
