Lawn View: Ice Cream day
Saturday, July 11
10 a.m. – noon
Come eat worms and dirt at Longue Vue! Of course, we mean gummy worms and chocolate dirt, as well as flower sprinkles, all on top of delicious ice cream sundaes. Everyone is invited to come cool down at our annual Lawn View: Ice Cream Day. In between eating ice cream provided by The Creole Creamery, kids can play in the dirt, make crafts, explore the maze of fragrant herbs, have their faces painted, play old fashioned lawn games and pet dogs that will be visiting from the SPCA.
Cost: $6 for members and $8 for non-members

Join Celeste Louapre, beauty expert and owner of Make Me Up on Magazine Street, as she introduces the newest makeup products and demonstrates application techniques. Explore how to choose products and colors that compliment your palate, so you can put your freshest, most fabulous face forward this summer! Following the demonstration, enjoy a traditional tea with scones, pastries, lemon curd, and finger sandwiches.
Cost: $25 for members; $30 for non-members
