Symposia

The Friends of Longue Vue Symposium was developed by a group of Longue Vue volunteers, the Friends of Longue Vue, in 1991. Since then, it has become a semi-annual event held in the spring and fall. Each year, the Friends of Longue Vue Symposia features educational lectures and tours for decorative arts enthusiasts. The symposia have recently attracted many ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) members from throughout the south including New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Covington, Lafayette, Lake Charles and the Mississippi Gulf Coast
