	Little Masters Thursdays, September 2, 16, 30 10 to 11 a.m. Bring your little ones to Longue Vue to stretch and sketch in our program for 2½ to 5 year olds and their parents or caregivers. Get inspired by the beauty of our gardens while painting, dancing, singing, and trying yoga moves under the open sky. Program fee covers one child and one adult. Sibling discounts are offered. Kinder Garden: "Back to School in the Garden" Tuesdays, September 7, 14, 21, 28 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Children ages 1½ to 3 years and their accompanying adults are invited to explore the world of insects through age-appropriate activities such as plant care, seed sorting, craft-making, singing, and digging for worms in this hands-on class for young, curious learners. 	Tea on Tuesday: "Jewelry of the Table" Tuesday, September 14 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join noted historian, author, and lecturer Dr. William P. Hood, Jr. on a journey through the craftsmanship and beauty of Nineteenth-Century Flatware, including Tiffany Silver. View fabulous pieces from the Sterns' silver collection, which adorned their dining table both for everyday use and lavish celebrations. A traditional tea will be served after the lecture with a selection of scones, pastries, homemade lemon curd, and finger sandwiches. Cost: $25 members; $30 nonmembers Reservations are required. Decorative Arts and Design Series: "Furnishing the Outdoor Room" Wednesday, September 22 10 a.m. to noon Have you worked hard to create an urban oasis, but aren't sure how to compliment your greenery with furniture and accessories appropriate for the outdoors? Join our panel of experts for a "how-to" discussion on using space, color, and design to create the perfect "outdoor room." 	Wines and Vines: "Partaking in Portugal" Thursday, September 30 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join us for Wine and Vines, the educational series cosponsored by Longue Vue, Vega Tapas Café and Martin Wine Cellar. Explore wines of Portugal with a wine educator from Martin's, while Chef Glen Hogh of Vega instructs on pairing and preparing innovative and delicious small plates that showcase the Portuguese love of seafood, spices, and flavors.
